Gas corporations are exporting 80% of our gas overseas, raking in billion-dollar profits, all the while raising energy prices for everyday Australians. They pay little to no tax or royalties and worst of all, they’re fuelling the climate crisis.
Enough is enough.
Our campaign is exposing the misinformation and lies of the gas industry, showing voters that gas is bad for the economy and bad for the climate. As we head to the next election, we need to redouble our efforts to pressure the government to stop approving new fossil fuel projects and make the gas industry pay its fair share.
