HeatWatch: Whitsundays
Join us at the Reef Gateway Hotel for the launch of The Australia Institute’s HeatWatch Whitsundays report.
Increasing extreme heat is one of the most urgent impacts of global warming. HeatWatch is a groundbreaking Australia Institute initiative which provides analysis of extreme heat projections at specific locations across Australia.
This launch will provide a preview of newly released research of HeatWatch projections and analysis for the Whitsundays.

HeatWatch presents compelling research that can be of use to the local community to highlight the direct impacts of global warming on their communities to help build support for ambitious climate action.
