Politics in the Pub: Senator Tim Storer
Tim Storer has been an independent Senator for South Australia since February 2018.
Senator Storer entered politics after an extensive business career in Asia.
His decision to oppose the government’s company tax program in the Senate meant the cuts were ultimately abandoned and $35 billion of government revenue that would have been foregone can now be used to underpin other initiatives that will increase services, growth, employment and wages more efficiently and rapidly.
Tim was born in Loxton in South Australia in 1969. He was educated at St Ignatius’ College and the University of Adelaide and graduated top of his class with an MBA from the Australian National University.
