Australia Institute Deputy Director, Ebony Bennett will be hosting a panel discussion with Chief Economist Richard Denniss, Senior Economist Matt Grudnoff and a special guest from our Centre for Future Work, to dissect the 2019 budget and what it means for the year ahead.  

The Budget is one of the most values-laden documents the government produces, demonstrating what the government values via what it chooses to fund and, perhaps more importantly, what it doesn't.

Join us for our special Politics in the Pub, as a panel of Australia Institute experts get together to call out the econobabble, decipher the confusion, and unpack what's really going on in the 2019 Federal Budget.
