Politics in the Pub: Fire & Forestry with Dr Jennifer Sanger
The summer bushfire crisis has highlighted the need to change the way we deal with bushfires, climate change, and fire risks.
Founder of the Tree Project and Research Fellow at the University of Tasmania, Dr. Jennifer Sanger will join us for Politics in the Pub to discuss her soon to be released research on the behaviour of fire in regrowth, old-growth and plantation forests.
Dr. Jennifer Sanger is Founder of the Tree Project, and Research Fellow at the School of Geography and Environmental Sciences, University of Tasmania. She has studied the behaviour of the 2019 Southern Tasmanian fires and how they interacted with mature forests.
