All MPs, Senators and staff are invited to a Parliamentary briefing on the Human Rights Commission's report into Human Rights and Technology, which was tabled in Federal Parliament on Thursday 27 May 2021.

The Australia Institute's Centre for Responsible Technology is convening a special briefing for elected representatives and their advisers, via Zoom, to hear directly from Human Rights Commissioner Ed Santow about this globally significant work.

The report is the product of a two-year consultation process looking at the impact of facial recognition technology, automated government decision-making and artificial intelligence technology on Australian society.
