Join former Treasurer and former Deputy Prime Minister Wayne Swan for Politics in the Pub.

Wayne was treasurer of Australia through the GFC and led Australia through the biggest economic failure of the global economy since the Great Depression. Wayne delivered six budgets in his role as treasurer and was named the world’s best finance minister in 2011.

Wayne is also a leading voice on inequality issues, publishing a book that tells the story of a patchwork of winners and losers across our society, and working in parliament for reform of the tax and transfer system.

At Politics in the Pub Wayne will discuss his response to the recent Federal Budget and his view on politics in general as well as taking questions from the crowd.
